Dr. Jeremy Edwards was born and raised in Mustang, OK. He obtained his undergraduate education at Oklahoma State University, completing a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Following his undergraduate studies, he attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry where he was awarded his Doctor of Denta­l Surgery (D.D.S). Upon graduation, he was elected by the faculty into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Dental Honor Society for high academic achievement and also received the Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons award for outstanding achievement in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

After completing his doctorate, Dr. Edwards began a 4-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, serving as chief resident in his final year.  During his training, Dr. Edwards gained extensive surgical experience in dentoalveolar surgery and wisdom teeth extractions, bone grafting, sinus lift procedures, dental implant placement, facial trauma and reconstruction, benign and malignant pathology of the head and neck, corrective jaw surgery, cleft lip and palate, and facial cosmetic surgery. In order to provide the highest level of safety and care to his patients, Dr. Edwards was also trained extensively on both office-based anesthesia and general anesthesia.  He completed additional rotations on pediatric anesthesia, general surgery, trauma surgery, plastic surgery, surgery critical care, and internal medicine.  He is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Fundamental Critical Care Support.

The Edwards family includes his wife, Meredith Edwards, and their two daughters, Hannah and Heidi. He enjoys spending time with his family, coaching little league sports, watching college football, and cheering on the Oklahoma City Thunder!
